Is HealthSource a domestic travel nurse company or an international recruiter?
We're both. Our team has spent the last decade and a half filling thousands of travel nurse positions with domestic nurses. More recently, we have realized that foreign-educated nurses can provide a substantial cost savings opportunity to hospitals. So we started an international recruiting division in order to provide one-stop shopping to hospitals who have both short-term travel nurse needs and long-term cost savings goals.
How does HealthSource fill positions that other agencies can't?
We maintain a massive database of nurses and thousands of current files on nurses who are active and ready to travel. Through the years, we have created relationships with these nurses that make them excited to help us meet your needs.
How do you recruit foreign RNs with the right qualifications?
We require our foreign-educated nurses to meet the same general licensure and educational hurdles as domestic nurses. We only accept nurses who graduated from accredited colleges and received exceptional scores on English and clinical exams. We further scrutinize each nurse's real-world experience with detailed questionnaires and interviews.
For foreign RNs, when am I billed and how long is the process?
Most foreign recruiters make hospitals pay up-front and then wait for many months or even years for their nurses. HealthSource doesn't. By anticipating the staffing needs of hospitals, we start qualified nurses through immigration before a hospital is ever contacted. With our constant flow of nurses, hospitals can generally expect their foreign-nurse requests to be met in less than six months and sometimes in days.
